Job Summary

This is a rare opportunity to build your own patient panel across two of Canada’s most sought-after mountain towns, with an established full-time physician earning in the region of C$348,000-C$384,000 a year (approximately £190,000-£205,000). Squamish alone holds a waitlist of over 1,000 patients, and the practice is expanding fast along the stunning Sea to Sky corridor between Whistler and Vancouver.

The Practice

• Two-site opportunity – split time between Whistler and Squamish, just 40 minutes apart, both experiencing rapid growth.
• Squamish waitlist – over 1,000 patients waiting for a family doctor, with a warm, plant-filled clinic opening imminently.
• Small, close-knit team – patients greeted on a first-name basis, with a highly responsive General Manager overseeing recruitment.

Benefits

• Panel-based earnings – established full-time physicians bill in the region of C$29,000-C$32,000 a month (approximately £15,500-£17,500), rising to C$348,000-C$384,000 a year (approximately £190,000-£205,000).
• Rising fee split – starts at 60% to the physician while you build your panel, climbing to 70% after year one and 80% on billings above C$35,000 a month.
• No overhead in your first three months – designed to support panel-building from day one.
• On-site specialist access – refer directly to an on-site sports medicine physician, naturopathic doctors and acupuncturists for collaborative patient care.

Whistler and Squamish sit along the spectacular Sea to Sky Highway, home to Whistler Blackcomb, North America’s largest ski resort, with year-round mountain biking, hiking and lake activities on your doorstep. Squamish offers world-class rock climbing at the Stawamus Chief and alpine views from the Sea to Sky Gondola, drawing a young, active population with a median age of just 37.9. Both towns are family-friendly and deeply community-focused, roughly one to two hours from Vancouver and Vancouver International Airport by car or scheduled bus. Skills and Requirements

• Qualified as a General Practitioner, ideally with MRCGP or equivalent.
• Eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
• Comfortable managing your own patient panel under the LFP model.
• Genuinely open-minded about working alongside naturopathic and integrative practitioners.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
